Creative Vase / January 19, 2019 / Angie Carroll.
Not all vases can be filled with the same exact type of flower. Let the size of the vase give you an idea what flower will look best in it. For vases with large openings and narrow bases, the perfect flower choice would be those with large petals such as dahlias and lilies. On the other hand, single-stemmed flower such as roses and sunflowers will go well with narrow vases.
If you want to apply a personal touch to your house, you may want to start applying your creativity in decorating sand art in a variety of glass vases. They will not only serve as great display in your home but an amazing impression of your special talent for art.
A final tip for planning centerpieces with a creative flair is to think beyond the standard wedding flowers like roses and hydrangeas. Less common selections like birds of paradise or Celestia will make your table arrangements more interesting. Or select a less common hue of a classic flower, such as chocolate brown cosmos or blackish purple calla lilies. The results will be centerpieces that genuinely reflect your own style and taste.
Hershey kisses - Find an interesting bowl, vase or other type of glassware in your home. Try to avoid a typical candy dish if possible. Fill the bowl with Hershey kisses. If it is a holiday season, purchase the colorful holiday version for interest. Place this in the center of your table. You may use the candy of your choice (it does not have to be Hershey kisses) but I recommend that you use only one kind of candy to keep a clean look.
